The Speaking Industry in 2027 and Beyond: A Global Conversation on Trends, Opportunities and Human Connection by Global Speakers Network

by Esther Indurkar,
President, Professional Speakers Association of India

What does the future hold for professional speakers?

What do we need to understand about professional speaking to stay relevant in a rapidly changing world?

These were the questions that shaped the latest Global Green Room session, hosted by the Global Speakers Network (GSN), an initiative of the Global Speakers Federation (GSF).

The session was hosted by Esther Indurkar, President of the Professional Speakers Association of India (PSAI) and Dr. Alka Chadha, PSAI member, who brought together speakers from across the globe for an engaging conversation on Trends of the Speaking Industry in 2027 and Beyond.

The conversation went beyond what speakers perceive about their own markets, because staying relevant calls for a broader view by understanding what corporates, speaker bureaus, event organisers and clients are looking for, how expectations are evolving, and what professional speakers can do differently to create greater value.

The group discussion brought these perspectives together, allowing participants to exchange experiences, challenge assumptions and explore new possibilities for the future together, with together being the key word.

A key highlight of this session was  Eytan Segev CSP, who joined from IMEX 2026 in Las Vegas, one of the major global gatherings for the meetings and events industry. Drawing from his experience at the conference, Eytan shared valuable insights into emerging trends and the shifts taking place across the professional speaking landscape

Like every Global Green Room gathering the sharing of ideas, meaningful connections, networking and possibilities for collaboration made the session extra enriching.

What became most relevant in this session was that - growing as professional speakers is not just about keeping up with change but it is also about learning from one another, building relationships across borders and creating opportunities together.

That is the spirit of the Global Speakers Network, bringing its supporters together to connect, learn, collaborate and make the most of an evolving professional speaking landscape.
